“All men dream, but not equally, those that dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act upon their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible.”

T.E Lawrence,

How Can You Help?

There are numerous ways in which you can help.

1) Advice and Ideas
Giving us, particularly on the technical and engineering aspects, the benefit of your knowledge and expertise. Or directing us to an individual or company who would be willing to give some thought to the project.

2) Engineering Facilitities
In school we do not have the facilities to build structures to the required specifications for a project of this nature. Can you help by not only providing the facility but also the engineering expertise required in the construction?

3) Support
We need support in making the most of our publicity and this includes the printing of publicity materials sent to potential supporters. Contacts within the media.

4) Financial Input
To show a willingness to make a financial contribution to the project, either in its initial engineering development phase, or for the expedition itself. Financial support is vital for the success of this project and the possible benefits it might hold, not only for the people of Kathmandu but other major cities of the Third World.

5) The provision of equipment
As with (4) this can fall into two categories, the provision of equipment/materials for the development and manufacture of the prototypes and also the provision of equipment and supplies for the expedition.

I hope the project will be funded entirely by sponsorship from companies or individuals interested in or involved with automotive power, environmental issues, and engineering. Grants will be applied for from charitable trusts interested in supporting technological development to improve the environment.

The aim would also be to raise significant funds so that the Nepalese could continue with the production of vehicles. This might come as a result of the expedition, depending on its success.

If this project is successful and the technology produces a significant improvement at an accessible cost, then it may have far reaching implications throughout the Third World.
